Concrete Pads
Concrete Pads done right the first time
Some of the most useful concrete on a property is also the smallest. A shed sitting on blocks that keep sinking, a hot tub waiting for a level spot, an RV parked in mud all winter, or a heat pump on a cracked plastic base: each one needs a solid, level pad under it. On rural lots across the Rogue Valley, a pad for a trailer, a generator or a woodpile keeps things out of the winter mud. A pad only works if it stays level, and that comes down to the base and the steel.
Rogue Valley Concrete Pro pours pads across Southern Oregon, from small equipment pads to RV parking. Our work includes shed slabs, and customers mention a spa slab we built heavier than the other bids, with a thicker beam, bigger rebar, a compacted crushed-rock base and rebar instead of wire mesh. We build pads the same way: dig to firm ground, compact the base, tie in rebar and pour it level. We can coat a finished pad as well, on concrete ground or blasted clean first. Our crew is licensed, bonded and insured, Oregon CCB #260341.

What's included
Our concrete pads services
- 01
Shed pads
Level pads for sheds and small outbuildings, sized to the footprint so the floor sits flat and stays dry.
- 02
Hot tub and spa pads
Pads built for the weight of a full spa, on compacted crushed rock with rebar rather than wire mesh.
- 03
RV and parking pads
RV pads, trailer pads and extra parking off the driveway, built for the weight of what parks there.
- 04
Equipment pads
Pads for heat pumps, AC condensers, generators and propane tanks, set level and clear of standing water.
- 05
Pad lifting and replacement
A sunken pad lifted back to level by mudjacking or foam, or broken out and poured new if it is cracked through.
- 06
Coated pads
A coating on a finished pad for color and easier cleaning. The concrete is ground or blasted clean first, which is what keeps the coating down.
How it works
How a concrete pad job works
- 1
Free on-site estimate
We look at the spot, what will sit on the pad and how water drains there. The estimate is free.
- 2
Layout and permits
We mark the pad to the size you need, with room around the shed, spa or equipment, and handle the permit if the job needs one.
- 3
Base and steel
We dig to firm ground, compact a crushed-rock base, set forms and tie in rebar.
- 4
Pour and finish
We pour, finish and check level, then clean up and tell you when the pad is ready to carry weight.
Customer reviews
What our customers say
“I had collected about three or four different estimates and Tim's price was lowest. I determined to see why it was lowest and see if I could endure that. Instead, what I discovered is Tim's job was way more than anybody else was offering instead of setting a 6 inch beam in my Spa slab. He said a 12 inch beam and he increased the rebar to half inch. But it really impressed me was another job he did for me on the sidewalk where the same as with the spa he used 4 inches of crushed rock compacted before he lay his forms out and then instead of using wire he actually use rebar. Basically he's an old-fashioned guy working in today's times where his work is more important than his profits.”

Spa slab & sidewalk · HomeAdvisor review of Concrete Coating Enterprises
“Tim was undoubtedly our best choice for a concrete floor on which to build a shed/storage building. They not only arrived on time and as promised, but their staff was always very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Best of all, they did an exceptional job. In the end, the concrete floor turned out even better than we expected, and they also left our backyard spotless after packing up all their tools. We would definitely hire Concrete Coating Enterprises again and highly recommend them.”

“I hired Concrete Coating Enterprises LLC to do extensive concrete work on my family’s historic 1920s log cabin, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The cabin had significant cracks and issues with its original concrete floors. They removed the damaged sections, properly prepared the foundation, and poured new concrete in the kitchen and dining areas. They also created beautiful custom brick landings, curved steps, and charcoal-colored concrete walkways incorporating original natural stones from our family property. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship are outstanding! What I appreciated just as much as the quality of their work was their excellent communication, reliability, and professionalism. They showed up when expected, kept me informed throughout the project, listened to my ideas, and worked with me to achieve the look I wanted. Renovating a cabin over 100 years old comes with unexpected challenges, and they handled the work with care, patience, and pride.”

“This company is very professional and finished the job quickly. Tim is honest and knowledgeable as he addressed any questions in a timely manner. He even came back a couple days after the concrete hardened and pressure washed both areas at no cost. Thank you!”

Questions
Concrete Pads FAQs
How big should my concrete pad be?
A little bigger than what sits on it. A shed pad matches or slightly exceeds the shed's footprint, a spa pad leaves room to step around the tub, and an RV pad needs space to open doors and slide-outs. We help you size it during the free estimate.
Why do pads sink or tilt in Southern Oregon?
Usually because they sit on soft or moving ground. Expansive clay in parts of the valley swells and shrinks with the seasons, irrigation runoff softens the soil beside a pad, and freeze-thaw at higher elevations heaves a pad without a good base. A compacted crushed-rock base, rebar and a grade that sheds water keep a pad level.
How much does a concrete pad cost?
It depends on the size, what the pad has to carry, how much digging the spot needs and how easy it is to get concrete there. A small equipment pad is a quick job, while an RV pad on a slope takes more excavation and base. We give you a free estimate on site, and we accept credit cards.
Can you pour a pad for a hot tub?
Yes. A filled hot tub is heavy, so we build the pad for that load with a compacted crushed-rock base and rebar. Customers mention a spa slab we built heavier than the other bids they got.
Do I need a permit for a concrete pad?
Usually not for a small pad at ground level, but it depends on the size, what goes on it and where you live. We check with the city or Jackson or Josephine County before we pour and handle the permit when one is needed.
