Concrete Resurfacing

Concrete Resurfacing done right the first time

Concrete that is still solid underneath can look worn out on top. Driveways and patios fade, pit and stain, steps chip at the edges, an old stamped walkway loses its color, and a pool deck gets rough on bare feet. Tearing it out and repouring is loud, messy and often more than the job needs. Resurfacing gives sound concrete a new surface, fixes the small damage along the way and protects it from the strong summer sun and wet winters that wore it down in the first place.

Rogue Valley Concrete Pro resurfaces driveways, patios, walkways, steps, pool decks and garage floors. We diamond-grind or shot-blast the old surface clean, because that prep is what makes the new surface stay down, then repair cracks and spalls and apply an overlay or coating system under a clear UV-stable topcoat. We restored an old stamped walkway and coated it with a quartz sand epoxy system, restored worn stairs and gave them a new coating, and patched and coated pool decks. Customers mention a pool deck resurfacing and a crew that cleans up.

  • “I hired Concrete Coating Enterprises LLC to do extensive concrete work on my family’s historic 1920s log cabin, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The cabin had significant cracks and issues with its original concrete floors. They removed the damaged sections, properly prepared the foundation, and poured new concrete in the kitchen and dining areas. They also created beautiful custom brick landings, curved steps, and charcoal-colored concrete walkways incorporating original natural stones from our family property. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship are outstanding! What I appreciated just as much as the quality of their work was their excellent communication, reliability, and professionalism. They showed up when expected, kept me informed throughout the project, listened to my ideas, and worked with me to achieve the look I wanted. Renovating a cabin over 100 years old comes with unexpected challenges, and they handled the work with care, patience, and pride.”

  • “I had collected about three or four different estimates and Tim's price was lowest. I determined to see why it was lowest and see if I could endure that. Instead, what I discovered is Tim's job was way more than anybody else was offering instead of setting a 6 inch beam in my Spa slab. He said a 12 inch beam and he increased the rebar to half inch. But it really impressed me was another job he did for me on the sidewalk where the same as with the spa he used 4 inches of crushed rock compacted before he lay his forms out and then instead of using wire he actually use rebar. Basically he's an old-fashioned guy working in today's times where his work is more important than his profits.”

  • “Tim was undoubtedly our best choice for a concrete floor on which to build a shed/storage building. They not only arrived on time and as promised, but their staff was always very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Best of all, they did an exceptional job. In the end, the concrete floor turned out even better than we expected, and they also left our backyard spotless after packing up all their tools. We would definitely hire Concrete Coating Enterprises again and highly recommend them.”

Questions

Concrete Resurfacing FAQs

Will resurfacing hold up to Rogue Valley sun and winters?

Yes, with the right prep and topcoat. Strong summer UV fades and chalks store-bought paints, and wet winters with frost and higher-elevation freezes push water under anything that is not bonded. Grinding or blasting first and finishing with a UV-stable topcoat is what keeps the new surface down.

How much does concrete resurfacing cost?

It depends on the size of the area, how much repair the concrete needs and the finish you choose. Resurfacing sound concrete is usually far less work than tearing it out and pouring new. We give you a free estimate after we see it, and we accept credit cards.

Can any concrete be resurfaced?

Concrete that is sound underneath can be resurfaced, even if the top is worn, stained or cracked. Slabs that are heaved, sunken, broken through or crumbling need those sections replaced first. We tell you which parts can be resurfaced and which need to come out.

Can you resurface stamped concrete?

Yes. We restored an old stamped walkway and coated it with a quartz sand epoxy system, which brought back its color and added grip. Stamped concrete can also be cleaned, repaired and resealed if you want to keep the original look.

How long does resurfacing take?

Much less time than a tear-out, since there is no demolition or new pour. The schedule depends on the size of the area, the repairs and the cure time of the system, and we tell you when you can use the surface again.
